History

Here you can take a short journey through the history of the family business of KRÄMER+GREBE. Find out how the early model assembly and toolmaking company grew into an internationally active market leader for tool solutions in all casting processes.

The basis of all this was the founding of the ‘Modell- und Maschinenfabrik’ by Fritz Krämer in 1922.

Then in 1942, together with his son-in-law, the mechanical engineer Ludwig Grebe, the company began to trade as KRÄMER+GREBE Maschinen- und Modellfabrik. Since 1981 the site has been ‘Ludwig-Grebe-Straße’ and the model assembly and toolmaking section has been legally independent of the machine factory.
